The team of Onyx Restaurant Budapest went on summer holiday from Aug 2 to 22 in 2011.
So the Michelin star restaurant in Budapest is closed for a while.
According to the official website, the team is not only relaxing but honing their culinary skills to keep up with recent trends.
Sorry about any inconveniences.
Likewise, the other Michelin starred Budapest restaurant, Costes is also on summer holiday (Aug 8 to 23). So if you should be staying in Hungary between Aug 8 to 22, you won’t be able to test how much and if at all the Michelin stars are well deserved or not, but you will still be able to enjoy wonderful meals at other high quality Budapest restaurants that are recommended in the Michelin guide. See the list of Budapest Michelin Restaurants here.
